La Lorraine Bakery Group is seeking a recent graduate for their Supply Chain Young Graduate program in Erpe-Mere, Belgium. This 3-year program includes assignments in planning, customer service, and warehousing, each lasting one year, aimed to provide comprehensive experience in the Supply Chain.

Overview

Have you recently graduated and want to start your first experience in Supply Chain? Join La Lorraine Bakery Group’s Supply Chain Young Graduate program. You will go through the entire Supply Chain processes from planning, customer service and warehousing over 3 years. As La Lorraine Bakery Group grows, you will work on new and challenging projects or improvement initiatives.

Function

During the program you will complete 3 assignments, each lasting 1 year:

• Planning (1 year): Balance service to the customer with internal costs (logistics, scrap) and overall inventory. Contribute to the Zero food waste goal. Manage external warehouses, supplier inbound supply, work with external logistics partners, manage demand planning or execute raw material and production planning.
• Customer Service (1 year): Manage the order-to-delivery process, from incoming orders to deliveries, coordinating with external warehouses and forwarders to deliver a perfect customer experience—on time in full.
• Warehousing (1 year): Support the physical delivery of raw materials to production and the delivery of products to customers worldwide. Identify and drive improvements in warehousing processes.

Contract and Location

In this role, we offer a permanent contract after the 3-year traineeship, with a position in one of our Supply Chain Teams. You will work from our site in Erpe-Mere and gain experience in an international environment.

Your Profile

• Recently graduated with clear interest in Supply Chain — max 1 year work experience
• Bachelor in Logistics / Master in Economics (or related)
• You are hands-on, solution-oriented and stress resistant
• Strong PC skills (very good knowledge of Excel), enjoys working with data, interested in how systems work
• Strong analytical insight
• Interested in the food industry
• Fluent in English and Dutch
