Jobtailor in Waregem, Belgium is seeking a Planning Supervisor to lead and develop the planning team and drive efficient supply chain operations. You will participate in order follow‑up, inventory control and exception handling, while tracking KPIs to maintain service levels.

The role requires structured, hands‑on collaboration across departments, with a focus on continuous improvement and cross‑functional communication. Fluency in French and Dutch is preferred (English a plus).

Qualifications

• You have experience in supply chain, planning or logistics administration
• You ideally have initial experience in team coordination
• You are structured, organized and comfortable in a dynamic environment
• You are solution‑oriented with a hands‑on approach
• You are communicative and enjoy working cross‑functionally
• You have an affinity for KPIs and data analysis
• You are proficient in French and Dutch (English is a plus)

Responsabilités

• Supervise, coach and support a planning team
• Actively participate in planning activities (order follow-up, inventory management, exception handling)
• Monitor KPIs and adjust performance when necessary
• Ensure coordination with various departments
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tools
• Organize and coordinate planning activities to ensure an efficient supply chain
• Mentor and develop team members with a collaborative and empowering approach
• Track KPIs (service level, inventory, backorders) and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with procurement, sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations
• Contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
