This is a pivotal role combining operational rigor with strategic thinking. You will lead and optimise Kebony’s supply chain processes while supporting Sales & Marketing in growth and brand positioning. Working closely with the COO and cross-functional teams, you will develop and execute strategies that strengthen Kebony’s market leadership, particularly in Europe and the US. Your expertise in supply chain, operations, and planning is essential in shaping Kebony’s future and accelerating profitable growth.
Customer Service
- Oversee the order management process from order entry through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high-quality customer experience.
- Serve as the escalation point for order issues, backorders, and delivery discrepancies, working cross-functionally to resolve them quickly.
- Monitor and report on customer service KPIs (on-time delivery, order fill rate, lead time, complaint resolution) and drive corrective action plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the CCO and internal sales teams to align on service expectations.
- Lead the monthly S&OP process, integrating demand forecasts, supply plans, and financial targets into a single consensus plan.
- Facilitate demand review, supply review, and executive S&OP meetings, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
- Develop and maintain demand forecasting models, tracking forecast accuracy and bias, and driving improvement initiatives.
- Translate the consensus demand plan into actionable production, procurement, and inventory plans.
- Identify supply-demand gaps, capacity constraints, and risks, and present mitigation options to leadership.
Procurement
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost-effective, reliable supply.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including supplier diversification and risk mitigation plans.
- Monitor supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery) and lead corrective actions or supplier development initiatives as needed.
- Partner with finance and legal on contract terms, purchase order approvals, and spend management.
- Track market trends, commodity pricing, and supply risks that could impact cost or availability.
Inventory Management
- Own inventory strategy across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to balance service levels with working capital targets.
- Set and maintain inventory policies (safety stock, reorder points, min/max levels) based on demand variability and lead times.
- Monitor inventory health, including aging, obsolescence, and slow-moving stock, and drive disposition plans.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Report on key inventory metrics (turns, days of supply, excess & obsolete inventory, carrying cost) and drive improvement plans.
Cross-Functional & Leadership
- Build, mentor, and manage a team of supply chain professionals (planners, buyers, customer service reps, as applicable).
- Partner with operations, finance, sales, and marketing to align supply chain execution with business goals.
- Identify and lead process improvement and automation initiatives across planning, procurement, and fulfillment.
- Develop and monitor supply chain KPIs and present regular performance updates to senior leadership.
- Build relationships with other departments to achieve higher performance – working closely with the COO and cross-functional teams to support market leadership in Europe and the US
What we are looking for: Experience, Qualifications & Skills
- The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can connect demand signals to supply execution, build strong cross-functional processes, and drive continuous improvement across the order-to-delivery lifecycle.
- 5+ years’ experience of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, or operations roles, including at least 2 years in a management or team-lead capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) or willingness to obtain the certification
- Demonstrated experience leading or actively participating in an S&OP/IBP process.
- Strong understanding of procurement practices, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
- Experience with inventory planning methodologies (safety stock, EOQ, ABC analysis, etc.).
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership
