Vulcain Engineering is seeking a Project Engineer – Substations to prepare and define projects related to high-voltage substations, including primary equipment, auxiliary systems, and power supply distribution.
Based in Belgium with Brussels headquarters, you will perform feasibility studies, define HV scope, draft specifications, and collaborate with internal experts and external firms to deliver integrated engineering deliverables.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical, Electromechanical or Energy Engineering.
- Experience with substation design and HV equipment.
- Knowledge of auxiliary systems and LV distribution.
- Strong technical writing and coordination skills.
- Structured and detail-oriented mindset.
Responsabilités
- Perform feasibility studies for substation projects
- Define technical scope for high-voltage equipment and utility systems
- Draft technical specifications and functional requirements
- Prepare cost estimates and project timelines
- Collaborate with internal experts and external engineering firms
- Ensure integration of LV power systems (400 VAC / 110 VDC)
- Consolidate engineering deliverables for project handover
- Support technical alignment during execution phase
