Manuchar NV in Antwerp seeks an ambitious Trader to grow our Polymers business across Latin America. Based at our Belgian headquarters, you will manage a diverse customer portfolio and build long-term partnerships while expanding product lines.

You’ll travel regularly within Latam and beyond to seize opportunities. We expect a minimum Bachelor's degree with initial commercial experience in logistics or related fields and fluent Spanish and English.

• Minimum Bachelor's degree with first commercial experience in international logistics or commercial environment.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Dutch is an asset.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage a profitable customer portfolio across Latam America.

• Grow existing business by increasing volumes and introducing new products.
• Identify opportunities within your customer portfolio and new markets.

Manuchar is looking for an ambitious Trader to further develop our Polymers business in Latin America. Based at our headquarters in Antwerp, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers across the region. Your focus will be on building long-term partnerships, expanding existing business, and identifying new commercial opportunities within your market.

Working in a truly international environment, you will collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and colleagues worldwide. You will travel regularly to Latam America and occasionally to other regions. Your responsibilities

• Develop and manage a profitable customer portfolio across Latam America.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Grow existing business by increasing volumes, introducing new products, and identifying opportunities within your customer portfolio.
• Stay informed about market developments, competitors, and new players to identify additional growth opportunities.
• Negotiate and manage international sales and purchase transactions from A to Z.
• Define the commercial strategy for your region and product portfolio.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and smooth execution of transactions.
• Take a hands‑on approach to solving operational challenges.
• Travel regularly to Latam America and occasionally worldwide.

What do you need to be successful in your mission?

• Min. Bachelor's degree with a first commercial experience in an international logistics or commercial environment.
• A genuine passion for international business and building long-term customer relationships.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English. Dutch is an asset.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot commercial opportunities and turn them into sustainable business.
• Hands‑on, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership.
• Strong intercultural communication skills and willingness to travel frequently.
• Based in Belgium, preferably in the Antwerp region.
