Alstom in Charleroi is seeking a full-time Project Procurement Manager to align procurement strategy with project objectives. You will work closely with engineering, quality, and legal teams to manage strategic sourcing and contract oversight.

The role emphasizes supplier performance, risk management, and continuous improvement across projects and platforms, with a focus on QCD success and international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in procurement, engineering, project management, or equivalent.
• Experience in project management, procurement, engineering, or quality.
• Strong knowledge of contract management and legal aspects.
• Ability to navigate a matrix environment effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to challenge ideas and decisions to foster innovation.
• Results-oriented with a structured and rigorous approach.
• Proficiency in English and French, with an international mindset.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement the project procurement strategy in line with QCD commitments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and validate the Project Procurement Management Plan.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of project buyers to ensure effective contributions to QCD objectives.
• Organize procurement kick-off meetings with key stakeholders.
• Monitor project and supplier progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee the creation and execution of supplier contracts.
• Evaluate supplier compliance with contractual obligations.
• Deploy the ePMFU tool across teams.
• Assess procurement savings and project-related risks.
• Collaborate with teams to define and implement continuous improvement plans.
