Vivid Resourcing seeks a Strategic Buyer to join the Procurement Team in Belgium. You will develop procurement strategies for electrical equipment and manage the EU procurement process from defining criteria to contract award, working with technical and asset management teams.

You will analyse markets, select suppliers, negotiate terms and coordinate with Brussels and Berlin stakeholders across Europe; fluency in FR, NL and EN is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical environment, public procurement or project management.
• Strong understanding of EU procurement procedures.
• Experience with contract negotiation and affinity with legal terminology.
• Analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.
• Results-driven and resilient in a demanding environment.
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English (one fluent, other two at least B2).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement procurement strategies for strategic electrical equipment
• Work closely with technical and asset management departments to understand long-term requirements
• Analyse global markets and identify potential suppliers
• Develop medium- to long-term procurement plans
• Organise and manage EU procurement procedures from A to Z, including supplier selection, negotiations and contract awarding
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across Brussels and Berlin and suppliers worldwide
• Take responsibility for a complete asset/equipment family, depending on experience
• Contribute to improving procurement processes, methods and tools
