Google's Strategic Partnership Office in Belgium seeks a Community Development Manager to bridge our infrastructure growth with local communities. You will analyze community needs, engage with government officials and non-profits, and drive place-based partnerships across data center markets.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights, build local investment plans, and advance Google's social impact. Fluency in French is a plus for multi-country collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience working with local municipalities, associations, key opinion formers, non-profit decision makers, education institutions, and community members.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time as required.
• MBA or Master’s degree in Education, Public Relations/Policy or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience using analytics to make decisions.
• Experience in data centers, utilities, government, or manufacturing.
• Experience developing and launching public-private partnerships.
• Ability to grow in a fluid multinational environment across multiple lines of business.
• Ability to communicate in French fluently.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with team leaders to scale sub regional community affairs coverage.
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders across Google units.
• Engage with municipals, industry partners, schools, and nonprofits to align initiatives with community needs.
• Develop tools to educate local communities about data centers and investments.
