Cobble - Van de Wiele Limited in Kortrijk is seeking a Strategic Buyer to lead international supplier negotiations and contract management. You will interpret ERP-driven proposals, convert them into orders and ensure deliveries meet customer expectations.

The role requires a technical degree, purchasing experience in a technical environment, and fluency in Dutch and English, with a willingness to travel to suppliers and trade fairs abroad.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Industrial Sciences Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics or equivalent.
• Proficient with ERP systems and MS Office.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French/German is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Initiate, negotiate and conclude contracts with suppliers.
• Interpret ERP proposals and convert to orders.
• Consult with suppliers and internal customers to optimize cost and service.
• Follow up open orders and deliveries to ensure on-time supply.
• Evaluate supplier base and identify international opportunities.
• Conduct market research to advise internal customers.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities across the supply chain.
• Coordinate with R&D and assembly on technical expectations.
• Address supplier questions from quality deviations to invoicing.
