Trasis in Belgium is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the general ledger and the day-to-day operations of the accounting team. You will ensure reliability, accuracy, and compliance of accounting information while guiding monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.

You will lead a skilled team, manage general and cost accounting data entry, and drive improvements through the ERP system. English fluency and strong communication are essential for audits and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, management, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in general accounting.
• Experience leading a team.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (Odoo a plus).
• Fluent in English.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead, develop, and support the accounting team to ensure its performance and achievement of objectives.
• Oversee and participate in data entry for general and cost accounting.
• Manage general accounting and related controls and ensure accuracy and compliance of all transactions.
• Ensure general and cost accounting meet legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Ensure accuracy of tax returns and application of accounting principles.
• Identify discrepancies and drive process improvements.
• Contribute to internal and external audits and follow up on recommendations.
• Participate in developing financial tools and ERP-driven process improvements.
