Trifinance in Antwerp seeks an Accountant to manage daily invoices, payments, and VAT-related duties while supporting year-end activities. The role emphasizes accuracy and proactive problem-solving within a small finance team.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or equivalent experience, a few years in a similar role, and strong Excel skills. Dutch and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent through experience.
• A few years of experience in a similar role.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and administrative skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel; experience with Navision and Power BI is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• Daily processing of purchase invoices and bank transactions.
• Following up on and executing payments to suppliers.
• Preparing and following up on tax returns (VAT returns, Intracommunity statements, recovery of foreign VAT, annual client listing, etc.).
• Assisting with year-end adjustments, performing checks, and making corrections where necessary.
• Supporting colleagues in Assistant Accountant roles regarding VAT and accounting entries, as well as training staff on using new digital tools and systems.
• Identifying opportunities for digitization and automation within financial processes.
• Leading projects to implement new digital tools and systems.
