Bayer in Diegem is offering a Consumer Health Marketing internship for a duration of 3 to 6 months. The selected intern will support the marketing team in various tasks related to brand management, including optimizing websites and organizing internal events. Candidates should be bachelor’s or master’s students with relevant education and language skills in Dutch, French, and English.

This role provides the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain valuable insights into the Life Sciences industry.

Do you have a passion for marketing? Do you want to gain practical experience in an international company while working with renowned brands like Supradyn Multivitamins, Priorin, Rennie and Bepanthen? As our Consumer Health Marketing intern you will be directly involved in the Consumer Health BNL Marketing team in Diegem, ideally for a period of 3 - 6 months.

The goal of this internship is to get a first impression of what it is like to work in a Life Sciences company, while contributing to our company’s vision: ‘Health for all, hunger for none.’ Working in close collaboration with the Brand Managers will also give you a good view of what this role involves.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Support the Brand and Trade Managers in the coordination of trade activations for our different newsletters, bannering, blogs and other supporting materials.
• Support the Brand Managers and Digital Team in the optimization of our different brand websites (incl. SEO/SEA) and our customers’ websites.
• Follow up competition trade activations, product launches and performance and make recommendations to the Brand Management team.
• Assist the Brand Managers in the process of new product launches (analyzing market data and creating actionable insights, presentations, etc.).
• Assist the Brand Managers and Team Support Officer in the organisation and communication of internal events (e.g. new product launches).
• Interact with the different BNL team members, other departments and external agencies (sales team, digital team, regulatory affairs team, etc.).
• Use Dutch and French language skills on a daily basis as the Brand Managers and agency contacts are both native speakers.
• Tasks can be adapted to your capacities and interests.

Who You Are

• Any bachelor’s or master’s student with an education in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Economics or a similar field.
• Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques, including social media.
• Good knowledge of English, Dutch and French in speaking, reading and writing.
• Working experience or interest to work for a Life Science company.
• True passion for brands.
• Outspoken and able to interact with team members and people from other departments.
• Organising, coordinating and administrating skills with a ‘get things done’ attitude.
• Initiative and eagerness to learn new things.
