Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting a Staff Project Engineer E&I in Geel, Belgium. The role focuses on delivering E&I projects within GET, contributing to a dynamic environment where innovation and a 'can do' mindset are expected.

You will collaborate across teams to ensure compliant, safe systems and impactful results. The Geel site is the largest API production site in the JnJ supply chain, with ongoing investments in new technologies and partnerships to reach patients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent; master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pharma/chemical or related industries.
• Strong safety mindset and quality focus.
• Ability to communicate with partners across levels.

The Geel site is the largest chemical production site for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) within the JnJ supply chain. We ensure that lifesaving medicines reach the patient safely, optimally, competitively, always. Besides production of API's, the site has a launch & grow mission for new pharmaceutical products. Responsibilities

This means you

• Act as Project lead or core-team member for E&I scope projects, driving successful project delivery
• Ensure that our systems are compliant and fit for the intended use, ensuring a smooth release for operational use.
• Establish effective working relationships and partnerships with internal and external partners

Who we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience, preferably in a Pharma/GMP or chemical industry environment.
• An enthusiastic, standout colleague with a "Can do" mentality.
• You love working in a team, hearing different points of view and discussing them with your peers.
• An individual who feels that safety and quality are of paramount importance.
• An individual with strong soft skills, who can communicate succesfully with partners across different levels of our organization.
• Experience in electricity (LV), instrumentation communication protocols, ATEX and qualification are strongly desired but can be compensated with a high level of eagerness to learn.
• A person with "digital" embedded in the DNA.
• You acquired a master’s degree or equal trough experience. Preferred fields of study are Engineering or Science.
