UPM Adhesive Materials in Belgium is seeking a Specialist, Quality to join our team in Houthalen-Helchteren. You will perform laboratory testing, analyze results, and support production with quality initiatives.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, data-driven decisions, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Dutch and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Experience contributing to quality projects; converting/printing industry is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to gather information from multiple sources with attention to detail.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Perform laboratory testing and quality control measurements.
• Record, analyze and report test results accurately and timely.
• Support production teams with quality-related troubleshooting and root cause investigations.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, test methods, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and customer quality projects.
• Support claim handling activities and provide backup for the Quality Engineer.
• Assist quality-related decision-making as needed.

What you will do

• Perform laboratory testing and quality control measurements
• Record, analyze and report test results accurately and in a timely manner
• Support production teams with quality-related troubleshooting and root cause investigations
• Maintain laboratory equipment, test methods, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and customer quality projects
• Support claim handling activities and provide backup support for the Quality Engineer
• Support quality-related activities and decision-making when needed

• You have experience contributing to quality projects; experience in the converting or printing industry is considered an asset
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You can gather information from various sources while maintaining focus and attention to detail
• You have good communication skills in Dutch and English
• You have strong team working capability
