Starion in Diegem, Belgium, is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer (Space Data) to join our Software Development team. You will design, develop and enhance end-to-end software solutions supporting satellite and scientific data processing.

You will work across backend services, APIs, databases and user interfaces, delivering scalable, reliable applications using modern cloud and container-based technologies. This role requires strong Java, React, and cloud experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience developing full-stack software solutions.
• Strong expertise in Java, backend development, REST APIs and web services.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented design principles.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the architecture, design, development and evolution of full-stack software systems supporting current and future space missions.
• Develop and test robust, scalable backend services and REST APIs.
• Create responsive, user-focused interfaces using React and modern web technologies.
• Develop and maintain relational databases and data-access components.
• Integrate frontend, backend and database technologies into end-to-end solutions.
• Produce technical documentation including requirements, design and test specs.
