Rikka Spa, part of Niseko Tourism, seeks a motivated spa supervisor to lead the team and drive exceptional wellness services.

You will oversee operations, support recruitment and training, and help analyze monthly reports to grow the business while collaborating with marketing on sales initiatives.

Ideal candidates have supervisory spa experience, strong communication, and fluency in English and Japanese, with eligibility to work in Japan.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role in a spa environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in providing training and developing spa personnel.
• Competent computer skills including spa scheduling systems and software.
• Ensuring 5-star service at all times.
• Legally eligible to work in Japan (visa status).
• Can communicate in English and Japanese.

About The Role

Main Tasks

• Lead by setting a good example and being an active team player
• Deliver high quality treatments including counselling and consultations
• Ensure all Spa team members adhere to the SOPs, best practice, regulations and company policy
• Support the recruitment, induction and training development of all spa contractors
• Oversee Spa operations, ensuring that sales and operational budgets, service standards and operational procedures are in place and are effectively being delivered
• Help analyse monthly reports using the information to grow the business (policy and operations of the Spa, competition, occupancy and usage etc)
• Collaborate with marketing to help execute effective sales & marketing initiatives to increase business levels and repeat clientele

About You

• Experience in a supervisory role in a spa environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in providing training and developing spa personnel

• Legally eligible to work in Japan (holding a valid visa status)
• Can communicate sufficiently in English and Japanese

Offer

Annual Compensation (consideration based on skills, experience, and language skills)

¥5,700,000 to ¥7,000,000

This Includes

• Company dormitory staff accommodation or housing allowance of up to ¥30,000 per month
• Seasonal Grand Hirafu and Hanazono Ski Lift Pass
• Performance‑based bonus of up to the equivalent of one month’s base salary

Standard Working Hours

• Variable working hours scheduled on a monthly basis e.g 13:00 – 22:00 including 60‑minute break (8 working hours)
• Hours may increase during high occupancy periods
• Days off: 2 days off per week (shift system), 116 days or more off per year
