Job summary

Companion.energy is seeking a Solutions Engineer to help energy users cut costs by integrating their systems with our cloud platform. You’ll work closely with customers and the product team at the intersection of backend development and delivery, translating constraints into practical setups.

You’ll build integrations, guide onboarding for industrial clients, and help standardise scalable delivery while collaborating with engineering teams to enhance architecture and tooling.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with APIs, data pipelines, or systems integration work.
• Curiosity in working with the latest AI tools and a strong drive for automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging mindset with real-world systems.
• Comfortable working hands-on with customers’ engineering teams.
• A practical communicator: you explain technical topics clearly, both internally and externally.
• Curious and proactive: you ask the right questions, and figure things out.
• Energy market experience is a bonus.

We help large energy users cut energy costs and carbon emissions by steering their energy use in sync with market prices and renewable generation. The value is clear, and demand is growing. We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to help speed up integrations.

You will work closely with both customers and our product team to implement and scale our platform. This role sits at the intersection of backend development, integration, and customer delivery.
