HumanInTech is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the GoAnywhere MFT platform design in a hybrid Brussels setting.

You will define secure architectures, model complex data flows, and guide migrations while working closely with project teams. Fluency in French and strong English are required, with 6–10 years’ experience in architecture and security.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of the Fortra MFT software GoAnywhere (clustering, workflows, connectors, gateways).
• Expert-level skills in solution and infrastructure architecture and security controls.
• Expert-level understanding of file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, REST, SOAP).
• Strong command of security, encryption, PKI management and SSH keys.

Responsabilités

• Design and evolve the architecture for the GoAnywhere MFT platform, including clustering and production/non-production separation.
• Define security rules, encryption standards, access controls and regulatory compliance.
• Model and validate data-exchange flows (workflows, scripts, APIs, connectors) and arbitrate MFT vs web services decisions.
• Lead migration strategy for legacy file-transfer flows and drive communication and training plans.

About the client

Our client is a Belgian public-sector organisation that operates as the IT provider for public administrations. The organisation designs, develops and maintains information systems and technology infrastructure, supporting digital transformation across areas including infrastructure management, application development, cybersecurity and user support.

What you will do

You will work as a solution architect within the middleware team, focusing on the managed file transfer (MFT) platform based on GoAnywhere. Your responsibilities include:

• Architecture and infrastructure evolution: Design and evolve the technical and solution architecture for the GoAnywhere MFT platform, including clustering, gateways, production/non-production separation, database replication and storage
• Governance and security: Define security rules, encryption standards and access controls while ensuring regulatory and normative compliance
• Flow design and integration: Validate and model the functional and technical design of complex data exchange flows (workflows, scripts, APIs, connectors, forms), and arbitrate the choice between MFT and web services/APIs
• Migration and support: Establish the migration strategy for legacy file transfer flows and lead communication and training plans for project teams and internal partners

What we are looking for

• Expert-level knowledge of the Fortra MFT software suite (GoAnywhere), including clustering, workflows, forms, connectors, gateways and modules
• Expert-level skills in solution and infrastructure architecture
• Expert-level understanding of file transfer protocols: SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, PeSIT, REST API, SOAP
• Expert-level knowledge of security and cryptography: SSL/TLS certificates, SSH keys, PKI management
• Expert-level experience with environments and cloud platforms, including operating systems, networks and storage
• Strong analytical skills: ability to translate business requirements into secure, documented architectures
• Strategic vision: capacity to frame and arbitrate structural technical decisions
• Excellent communication and teaching skills: ability to facilitate workshops, simplify complex topics and support change management
• Native or fluent French is required; active knowledge of English

The setting

This assignment runs from mid-October 2026 to the end of July 2027. The role is hybrid, with a minimum of 50% on-site presence required in Brussels. All work is conducted in French.
