Job summary

Rhox in Belgium seeks a solution architect / lead developer to design and implement scalable software and to lead a small engineering team from design to production. This is hands-on technical delivery, not advisory-only architecture.

You will own architecture across application, integration, data and security, translate business needs into backlogs, and drive Agile refinement, estimates and risk management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering.
• 3+ years leading technical delivery.
• Azure or equivalent cloud experience, including hybrid setups.
• Proficiency in Java or Python, ability to review the other.
• CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Git, automated testing and infrastructure-as-code literacy.
• Security by Design: identity, secrets, least privilege, encryption, data protection.
• Dutch or French (native).
• English (C1) with clear communication.

• Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, OpenTofu).
• Proficiency in both Java and Python.
• Belgian regulated or public‑sector delivery experience.
