Keysight Eggplant is seeking an experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about building world-class software. You will help design and expand the next-generation AI-driven test automation engine for our software quality platform, enabling end-to-end testing of complex systems.

Join a cross-disciplinary team, contribute to architecture, ensure testability and quality, and explore new technologies. The role requires strong OO design, 8+ years of experience, and proficiency in C/C++,

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns and coding best practices.

Responsabilités

• Design, expand and maintain new capabilities for the Eggplant Fusion Engine.
• Work as a Software Engineer alongside other highly skilled, cross‑discipline team members to deliver the team’s goals consistently on schedule and on quality.
• Work with the Team Lead and Product Owner to ensure that new features work as expected, in a way that provides value to the customer.
• Ensure products and components integrate well to provide a platform for an exceptional user experience.
• Help to determine the best technologies and strategies to use.
• Bring curiosity to the design and delivery of product enhancements and new innovative solutions.
• Provide input to the design and development process to improve testability, quality and user experience.
• Identify and raise issue reports for bugs.

Keysight Eggplant helps businesses to test, monitor and analyze their end‑to‑end customer experience across different interfaces, platforms, browsers, and devices — including mobile, IoT, and desktop — in agile, DevOps, and innovative application and data environments.

Eggplant’s customers use Eggplant suites to ensure the quality of their applications through UI test automation. Eggplant’s Fusion Engine team maintains Eggplant’s test automation engine, allowing our customers to test any system through the eyes of a human.

About The Job

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about creating world‑class software. We are building the next‑generation, AI‑driven test automation engine for our software quality engineering platform. The successful candidate will help build the automation engine which allows our customers to test end‑to‑end workflows on complex, mission‑critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer science or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a software development role.
• Knowledge of OOP, design patterns and coding best practices.
• Good design and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in software architecture.
• Strong knowledge of the Objective C, C/C++ and C# programming languages.
• Solid knowledge of AI, Agile, Lean and XP development practices

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with near real‑time image and video processing and computer vision.
• Experience with text detection and optical character recognition (OCR) technologies.
• Experience with AI technologies, including Large Vision Models, Large Language Models, and agentic development.
• Experience with analyzing and implementing low‑level protocols, such as VNC (RFB).
• Experience with VS Code and the Debug Adapter Protocol (DAP) is a plus.
• Experience with Conan and containers.
• Experience working in product teams that build commercial of the shelf (COTS) software for the enterprise market.
• Experience with performing and remediating security scans, threat modelling, software composition analysis / SBOM.
• Experience using GitHub Actions or GitLab for build pipelines
• Experience of continuous delivery.
• Experience using Eggplant Test or other test automation software
