Vector Synergy is seeking a proactive software/DevOps professional to help manage NATO’s cloud-based cyber threat intelligence platform from Brussels. You will work with a Senior Cloud Engineer to enhance data pipelines, develop CI/CD workflows, and strengthen security and documentation.

Candidates should have a technical degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of SDLC best practices, and familiarity with Terraform, Python, and Storm to support data ingestion, API integrations, and AI

Qualifications

• A university degree from a nationally recognised/certified university in a technical subject with substantial software engineering and information technology content OR at least 2 years’ experience similar to the tasks described in this SoW and relevant industry recognised certificates.
• Demonstratable knowledge of best practices for the software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and can work with Terraform to implement them.

Responsabilités

• Working together with a Senior Cloud Engineer to manage and improve NATO’s cloud‑based cyber threat intelligence platform by enhancing data pipelines, developing CI/CD workflows, extending code, updating applications, and improving cloud architecture, while maintaining a strong focus on security and documentation.
• Collaborating with Threat Researchers to design, develop, and optimise API integrations, and expanding custom functionalities (using Python and Storm) to ensure accurate ingestion and correlation of large volumes of technical and non‑technical cyber threat intelligence data.
• Cooperating with a Data Scientist to integrate artificial intelligence (such as Large Language Models) into the cyber threat intelligence platform by ensuring code quality and improving developed software.
