Belden Olen-based engineering center is seeking an Engineer Software Development to join the product development team, designing and maintaining the software behind XTran while collaborating with hardware, firmware, QA, and product teams to keep mission-critical networks running.

The ideal candidate brings a Master’s degree in Engineering or Information Sciences and strong C#/.NET skills, with a problem-solving mindset and proven testing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Educational Background – A Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Sciences, or equivalent through experience.
• C# & .NET expertise with strong coding, debugging, and maintenance skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with analytical and performance-tuning abilities.
• Collaborative team player across hardware and firmware teams.
• Testing & quality focus with unit and automated testing, and English proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software for the XTran network management platform, Belden's mission-critical telecommunication network solution.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, product management, and the customer service organization to deliver high-quality software.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within an agile development environment.
• Conduct regular design and code reviews, and actively participate in debugging and resolving coding issues.
• Introduce new technologies and platforms into the R&D group's development activities, helping keep the team at the forefront of software innovation.
