Rhox in Belgium is building an evidence-based, point-of-care platform for healthcare professionals. As a developer you will create React and Python services connecting trusted content, healthcare data and AI-enabled retrieval to support clinical decision-making.

You will integrate EHRs, publisher APIs and content services, implement authentication, and build analytics dashboards. The role requires hands-on experience with federated and semantic search, vector databases and healthcare terminology

The mission

The platform combines a central knowledge database with Belgian and international evidence, data onboarding, interoperability standards, AI and content governance. Access spans web, mobile devices and electronic health records for clinical decision-making.

Your responsibilities

• Develop APIs and interfaces with React and Python.
• Build analytics and monitoring dashboards.
• Implement federated search, semantic search and AI-enabled information retrieval.
• Integrate EHRs, external publisher APIs and content services.
• Implement authentication and authorisation frameworks with eID, SSO and Cobrha.

Your profile

Essential skills

• React, Python and API development experience.
• Experience with analytics and monitoring dashboards.
• Experience centralising metadata within evidence retrieval systems.
• Experience developing AI-enabled, federated and semantic search solutions.
• Experience with vector databases, knowledge systems and evidence-based content structures, plus healthcare terminology including SNOMED CT, ICD, ICPC and interoperability.
• Proven digital health or knowledge platform project experience.
