EASI is seeking a SOC Analyst in Belgium to monitor multiple customer environments and translate technical findings into clear guidance. The role focuses on defending clients with a security-first mindset, handling Level 2 incidents, and contributing to continuous SOC improvements.

You'll work closely with customers, participate in on-call rotations, and benefit from a structured certification and training path focused on the Microsoft Security ecosystem to grow your expertise over time.

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber security operations and SOC environments.
• Ability to correlate events and identify attacker TTPs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with clients to translate technical findings.

Responsabilités

• Analyze Level 2 security incidents escalated by Level 1 analysts.
• Investigate security events using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, and Threat Intelligence sources.
• Perform threat hunting and proactive detection within customer environments.
• Create, tune, and optimize detection rules, analytics, and IoCs.
• Collect and analyze forensic data from endpoints, identities, networks, and cloud resources.
• Support remediation and containment actions with customers and internal teams.
• Contribute to SOC process improvements, playbooks, and automation.
• Participate in on-call duty for major security incidents when needed.

Wat houd de functie van SOC Analyst in?

Als SOC Analyst binnen ons Cybersecurity-team ben je nieuwsgierig en gedreven om je cybersecuritykennis voortdurend uit te breiden. Je benadert security operations met passie en een sterke defensieve mindset tegenover cyberdreigingen.

Je monitort meerdere klantomgevingen en onderhoudt regelmatig contact met klanten via telefoon, e-mail en ticketsystemen. Daarom voel je je comfortabel in klantinteractie en kan je technische bevindingen helder vertalen naar begrijpelijke communicatie.

Wat zijn je taken als SOC Analyst?

Na een gepersonaliseerd onboarding- en opleidingsprogramma zal je:

• Level 2 security-incidenten analyseren en behandelen, geëscaleerd door Level 1-analisten
• Security events onderzoeken en correleren met Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR en Threat Intelligence-bronnen
• Threat hunting en proactieve detectie uitvoeren binnen klantomgevingen
• Detectieregels, analytics en custom IoC’s creëren, afstemmen en optimaliseren
• Endpoint-, identity-, netwerk- en cloudgerelateerde forensische data verzamelen en analyseren
• Remediatie- en containmentacties ondersteunen in samenwerking met klanten en interne teams
• Bijdragen aan de continue verbetering van SOC-processen, playbooks en automatisering
• Deelnemen aan een wachtdienst (on-call) voor grote security-incidenten indien nodig
