VeroTech in Mechelen region is seeking a site coordinator to join our team, coordinating the execution phase of network infrastructure projects. You will ensure safety, quality and timely delivery while working with a regional project team, designers, contractors and local authorities.

This hands-on role requires at least 3 years in site coordination within infrastructure or utilities, strong planning and communication, and the ability to manage contractors.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a site coordinator, works coordinator, project leader or in a similar role within infrastructure or utility projects.
• Experience in telecom, fiber, coax, trenching or other utility activities is a strong asset.
• Experience with contractor coordination and follow-up is required

About The Role

As a VeroTech consultant, you will coordinate the execution phase of network infrastructure projects in the Mechelen region. You follow works from preparation through technical and administrative handover, making sure activities are carried out safely, correctly and according to plan. You work closely with a regional project team, designers, connectivity coordinators, contractors, municipal technical services, utility companies and internal stakeholders. On site, you act as the main point of contact and help translate project preparation into a successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end project execution during the works phase
• Monitor quality, safety and progress across daily site activities in the Mechelen region
• Manage and guide contractors during execution
• Organise and participate in site meetings with involved stakeholders
• Identify and resolve operational issues and escalations in a timely way
• Prepare efficient daily and weekly planning for site activities
• Maintain digital project administration, including Smart Work, measurement statements and as-built documentation

What we're looking for

We are looking for an organised and hands‑on coordinator with site execution experience, strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership in an operational project environment.

• At least 3 years of experience as a site coordinator, works coordinator, project leader or in a similar role within infrastructure or utility projects
• Experience in telecom, fiber, coax, trenching or other utility activities is a strong asset
• Experience with contractor coordination and follow‑up is required
• Strong planning, organisation and administrative skills, with a structured approach to digital project follow‑up
• Comfortable using PC tools and digital platforms such as Smart Work, Marlin, TenForce and MS Office
• Stress‑resistant, flexible and able to work independently while taking ownership
• Assertive communicator with a professional attitude towards contractors, clients and stakeholders
• Driving licence B and living in or near the Mechelen region are required
• You are fluent in Dutch and English
