Job summary

BESIX Group is seeking a site-based civil/industrial engineer for a dedicated zone of the ROCO consortium in Antwerp, where English is the sole working language. You will manage documentation, method statements, temporary works, and coordination with subcontractors on a major cross-city project including canal tunnels and ring-road transformation.

Responsibilities include developing safety analyses, coordinating permanent works, and handling material requisitions and payments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong analytical and technical capabilities with the ability to keep an overview.

Responsibilities

• You ensure the site is supplied with all documentation, methods and materials for works.
• You prepare construction method statements and risk assessments, and develop work methods and temporary works for your area.
• You prepare temporary works drawings and site related design drawings.
• You develop the job safety analysis.
• You follow up on permanent work design and coordinate with the site.
• You coordinate daily with subcontractors and assist in preparation of work requisitions.
• You prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets of offers from subcontractors and follow up payments.
• You prepare work requisitions for permanent materials and follow approval process.
• You follow deliveries and invoicing of permanent materials.
