Itproposal in Belgium seeks a Medior PLC & Automation Engineer to maintain and develop Siemens PLC systems, SCADA, instrumentation, and process control within a highly regulated industrial environment.

You will work hands-on with PLCs, SCADA, and automation projects, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance while contributing to technical improvements. The role is fully onsite in Dessel, starting ASAP for a 4‑month contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Several years of relevant PLC/Automation/Instrumentation experience.
• Hands-on Siemens PLCs and SCADA knowledge.
• Experience in industrial automation and process control.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation.

Responsabilités

• Plan, execute, and follow up on maintenance activities.
• Perform and coordinate major maintenance tasks.
• Support automation and instrumentation projects.
• Analyse faults, alarms, and process disturbances.
• Update technical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics.
• Train colleagues on modifications and improvements.
