Job summary

Buzzispace, Inc. in Turnhout is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage end-to-end international shipments from our warehouse.

You will coordinate road, sea and air freight, ensure correct documentation and Incoterms compliance, and act as the central link with carriers and external logistics partners. Reporting to the Logistics Leader, you will monitor shipments, support Customer Service Representatives, and continuously look for ways to improve processes, reduce costs and enhance delivery

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, expediting, transportation or international shipping.
• Knowledge of road, sea and air freight.
• Familiar with Incoterms, customs procedures and export documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Owns responsibilities, works independently with a hands-on approach.
• Process-minded and continuously seeks improvements.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Experience with ERP, WMS or TMS systems is an advantage.
• Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders or 3PL partners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments from preparation and booking through to final delivery.
• Organize road, sea and air freight, including the preparation of shipping documentation.
• Book shipments with carriers and logistics providers.
• Act as the internal freight forwarding and expediting specialist.
• Optimize shipments through consolidation, volume planning and appropriate transport selection.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and customer requirements.
• Prepare and manage customs and export documentation for non-EU shipments.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, carriers and logistics providers to ensure smooth international transport.
• Monitor shipments through to final delivery and proactively communicate delays or issues.
• Support CSRs, customers and internal stakeholders with shipping-related questions.
• Follow up on and resolve transportation and delivery issues in collaboration with logistics partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics flows and shipping processes.
• Optimize transportation costs and delivery performance.
• Standardize and simplify working methods.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and more efficient logistics operations.

Job description

To support our logistics operations, we are seeking a Shipping Coordinator for our warehouse in Turnhout.

As Shipping Coordinator, you are responsible for end-to-end coordination of our worldwide shipments. You are the central point of contact for transportation activities, working closely with our warehouse team, Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and external logistics partners.

You report to the Logistics Leader and coordinate road, sea and air freight, ranging from small parcels to full container loads. You ensure shipments are organized efficiently, documentation is correct and deliveries reach their destination as planned.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Shipping & Rransportation
