Ciner Glass Belgium is seeking a Shift Leader Batch & Furnace to guide a team of operators in a 6-shift system. You will oversee batch and furnace processes, ensure safety and quality, and actively participate on the shop floor.

With a technical diploma and 3–5 years in glass, steel, chemistry, energy, or a similar process industry, you will lead continuous improvements and coach staff toward growth, using Excel to analyze production data.

Qualifications

• Requires leadership experience in a technical production environment.
• Experience supervising production teams and coaching operators.
• Familiarity with batch and furnace processes, safety and quality standards.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with production data (e.g., Excel).

Responsabilités

• Lead a shift of operators in a 6-shift system.
• Monitor batch and melt processes to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Oversee temperatures, levels, pressures and air-fuel ratios.
• Address faults and deviations and identify root causes.
• Record production data and use it to drive improvements.
• Train new operators and support career development.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Planning, Quality and Engineering.
