Job summary

The Scientist, Operations Labs in Technical Consumer Data Research (TCDR) at Coca-Cola Brussels leads sensory lab operations and drives consumer studies across the EMEA region. You will manage panels, audits, and data delivery to support product, packaging, and equipment development aligned with innovation priorities.

You will design, execute, and analyze studies, provide actionable insights, and collaborate with R&D, Marketing, and Human Insight teams to strengthen the innovation pipeline.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Food or Sensory Science or related field with hands-on lab experience.
• Proven ability to design, execute, and analyze sensory/consumer studies.
• Experience in FMCG environment and collaboration with R&D, Marketing, and HI.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal sensory laboratory operations and manage panels, contractors, and staff.
• Design and conduct sensory and consumer studies with rigorous data collection and analysis.
• Perform statistical analyses, prepare conclusions, and present results to stakeholders.
• Benchmark products, assess packaging/equipment, and translate insights into development guidance.
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing and HI to influence product strategy and innovation.
