ENGIBEX is seeking an experienced validation engineer to lead the verification of one mechanical domain within automotive transmissions for a Belgian client. You will own the validation scope, decide test approaches, and sign off results, coordinating with design and test teams.

The role is on-site most of the week with one day of home office, and involves collaboration across Germany, France, and Italy partner sites. Fluent English required; Master’s in engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electromechanical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent by experience.
• Several years of professional experience in the automotive industry.
• Fluent English, spoken and written; English is the working language.
• Based within commuting distance of the site, or ready to relocate to Belgium.

Responsabilités

• Define the validation approach for your domain, including virtual validation.
• Translate product requirements into a validation plan and executable test requests.
• Decide which bench and test setup are needed and secure resources.
• Follow execution with test engineers and test rig engineers to run tests.
• Analyse data, report results, and decide if the design passes or evolves.
• Sign off validation results at SOP and milestones.
• Convert long-term planning into weekly planning and remove roadblocks.
• Provide work instructions on technical cases within your domain.
