Madison Recruitment is seeking a Senior Test & Validation Engineer for an international high-tech player active in imaging and sensor technology in Belgium. You will define, execute, and structure test and validation processes for complex imaging systems and lead system-level testing across optical, electronic, and mechanical domains.

You will prepare test plans, define test cases, analyze results, and drive automation of tests while coaching the team and raising maturity of validation

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physics, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within test & validation engineering.
• Experience in a high-tech environment.
• Experience with Python for test automation.
• Good command of English.

For an international high-tech player active in advanced imaging and sensor technology, with applications across various industrial and specialized markets, we are looking for a Senior Test & Validation Engineer. This organization combines technological innovation with a strong R&D focus and collaborates closely from Belgium with several international sites.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining, executing, and structuring test and validation processes for complex imaging systems. You will work at system level, covering optical, electronic, and mechanical aspects, and will be in charge of preparing test plans, defining test cases, and analyzing results. In addition, you will play an important role in automating test procedures and further developing robust and scalable validation methodologies.

You will work closely with R&D teams and, ideally, be involved already during the design phase to help optimize products in terms of testability and reliability. You will also take on a coaching role within the team and contribute to increasing the maturity and structure of the test and validation activities.
