Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to own testing across the development lifecycle, translating requirements into clear test strategies, plans and campaigns. You will lead multidisciplinary testing across software, electronics/hardware and mechanical systems, driving root cause analysis and working with R&D engineers to resolve issues.

You will develop automated testing with Python, identify automation opportunities, and help establish robust testing approaches.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in a Test Engineer/Verification/Validation role.
• Strong understanding of structured test strategy, planning, test case definition and execution.
• Able to troubleshoot multidisciplinary systems (software, hardware and mechanical).

Responsabilités

• Define and document test strategies, plans, test cases and test methodologies based on product requirements and specifications.
• Lead and coordinate test campaigns, ensuring coverage of functional, technical and performance requirements.
• Execute test activities across software, electronics/hardware and mechanical components.
• Analyse test results, identify anomalies and investigate root causes of failures.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and fault finding across multidisciplinary systems.
• Work with hardware, software, mechanical and systems engineers to resolve issues and influence design improvements.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks using Python.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive or time-consuming testing activities.
• Improve efficiency, reliability and repeatability of testing through automation.
• Document test results, failures, corrective actions and campaign outcomes.
• Support regression testing after design changes, software updates or hardware modifications.
• Drive improvements to testing methodologies, tools and processes.
• Provide technical guidance to other engineers within testing and R&D teams.
• Ensure testing provides evidence that products meet quality, functional and technical requirements.
