Médiane Benelux is seeking a Senior System Engineer to establish and grow a Systems Engineering function for complex embedded products in the defense sector. You will lead process definition, requirements management, and system architecture across multidisciplinary teams in a demanding engineering environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating requirements, reviews, and end-to-end traceability, while driving standardization and tooling adoption.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• 8+ years of experience in Systems Engineering.
• Strong expertise in requirements definition, management and traceability.
• Experience with DOORS, Polarion or an equivalent requirements management tool.
• Good knowledge of SysML and/or UML.
• Proven ability to work on complex, multidisciplinary systems.
• Strong coordination, communication and technical leadership skills.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, railway or another safety‑critical industry is highly valued.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement Systems Engineering processes and methodologies.
• Capture, analyze and structure stakeholder and system requirements.
• Coordinate system architecture activities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead requirement reviews and technical alignment sessions.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support the implementation of consistent engineering standards, tools and documentation.
• Contribute to the development and maturity of the Systems Engineering department.
