Job summary

Médiane Benelux seeks a Senior System Engineer to build a Systems Engineering function for complex embedded products in the defense domain.

You will define processes, manage requirements, shape system architecture and provide technical leadership in a demanding engineering environment; on-site four days per week.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• At least 8 years of experience in Systems Engineering.
• Strong requirements definition, management and traceability.
• Experience with DOORS, Polarion or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of SysML and/or UML.
• Proven ability to work on complex, multidisciplinary systems.
• Strong coordination and leadership skills.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, railway or safety-critical industries is valued.
• Fluent French.
• On-site presence at least four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Systems Engineering processes and methodologies.
• Capture, analyze and structure stakeholder and system requirements.
• Coordinate system architecture activities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead requirement reviews and technical alignment sessions.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability throughout the development lifecycle.

• Contribute to the development and maturity of the Systems Engineering department.
