Secure Code Warrior in Bruges is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Learning Platform team and help us build essential educational tools for developers learning secure coding and AI usage.

You will collaborate with engineers across regions, drive product innovation, and contribute to a modern stack with Node.js, React, MongoDB and PostgreSQL, plus Kubernetes and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience in SaaS/enterprise environments.
• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js and modern React.
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL data modeling and querying.
• Familiarity with AI development tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) and prompt engineering.
• Proven ability to safely modify legacy code and improve it iteratively.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, Git, and modern design patterns.
• Hands‑on Kubernetes experience and cloud deployments (AWS).
• Commitment to secure coding practices (OWASP).

Responsabilités

• Architect, build, and deliver robust, scalable features for the Learning Platform.
• Full‑stack development across Node.js back end and React front end.
• Design and optimize data models in MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Modernize legacy codebases and maintain high code quality.
• Promote AI‑assisted engineering and review AI‑generated code.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and participate in code reviews.
