Job summary

TrackBox in Antwerp is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and scale the core engine that analyzes sports games. You will work with Python, C++, and CV tools like OpenCV, designing modular, reliable production code and a testable architecture.

You'll lead on DevOps, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Docker, and best practices for linting and testing with PyTest, while collaborating with AI researchers to translate research into robust software.

Qualifications

• Mastery of Design Patterns, OOP, and clean architecture.
• Experience with PyTest and Mocking; ready to master PyTest if outside Python.
• Deep knowledge of Git workflows (branching strategies, PR reviews).
• Know how to design clean RESTful APIs and work with Docker.
• Proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL) and data at scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect the Core Engine in Python and C++ repos with CV/tracking logic.
• Architect for scale and modularity to reduce complexity of processing pipeline.
• Champion engineering excellence with strict typing, linting, and testing (MyPy, Ruff, PyTest).
• Provide technical leadership and set best practices for rapid, reliable deployments.
• Own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and containerization with Docker.
