Moody's Investors Service in Belgium is seeking a software engineer to design and deliver scalable cloud-native solutions that support data platforms and client outcomes. You will own the full software development lifecycle and collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into robust software.

You will work across frontend and backend with TypeScript/React, build APIs and databases, and apply best practices in testing, CI/CD, security, and cost efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level or higher in a technical field with practical experience
• Experience delivering production-grade software in complex environments
• Strong knowledge of frontend and backend development with modern web applications

Responsabilités

• Design and deliver scalable, cloud-native software solutions for financial data platforms and client outcomes
• Implement scalable and resilient cloud-native solutions using serverless and event-driven architectures
• Own the full software development lifecycle from design to monitoring
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver technical solutions
• Tackle complex technical challenges and define solution approaches and priorities
• Contribute to system architecture decisions to improve scalability, performance, and cost efficiency
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and security via testing and reviews
• Support cross-team alignment by contributing to technical standards and managing dependencies
• Share knowledge and mentor teams to improve engineering practices and tooling
