Halian Group in Brussels is seeking an experienced Security Risk Manager to join its CISO Office and lead enterprise-wide risk initiatives. You will work across IT and cybersecurity to evaluate risks, shape treatment plans, and ensure timely remediation while advancing regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, governance, and compliance with NIS2, ISO 27001 and GDPR, along with driving awareness across business and tech teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity, information security risk management, governance, compliance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of security controls and domains: Network Security, IAM, SSDLC, Cryptography.
• Experience in governance, risk management frameworks, regulatory compliance, and audit programmes.
• Knowledge of security control frameworks, policy management, compliance monitoring, translating regulatory requirements into operational controls.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support security risk assessments across IT and cybersecurity domains.
• Participate in project and architecture reviews to assess security risks and ensure mitigation tracking.
• Develop, monitor and follow up on risk treatment plans and remediation actions.
• Maintain and enhance the central risk register with current risk exposure.
• Promote a risk-aware culture through awareness initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
• Support compliance activities related to security frameworks and regulations (NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR, audits).
