Cisco is seeking a security engineer to help Isovalent enforce secure software development practices. You will craft and deploy tools that detect vulnerabilities, triage findings, and drive security processes across product teams.

You will collaborate with development, release, and Cisco security teams to ensure timely remediation, document posture, and promote industry best practices. Prioritization will be guided by risk and impact metrics.

Qualifications

• Technical background in information security with Linux security concepts.
• Significant experience automating security processes with Go, Python, Bash, or IaC tools like Terraform.
• Demonstrable experience leading security projects from design to delivery.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Build and deploy tools to detect vulnerabilities in Isovalent software and tune them for valuable signals.
• Triage findings from SAST/DAST scanners, cloud scanners, external reports, and pentests.
• Continuously improve security processes with a focus on impact and metrics.
• Partner with development, release, and other Cisco security teams to address vulnerabilities promptly and document security posture.
