Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Scientist to join the Advanced Materials Characterization and Investigations (AMCI) group within Analytical Development in Beerse, Belgium. You will perform mechanical testing, imaging, and spectroscopy to generate high-quality data, guide design decisions, and support lifecycle product development for drug-device products.
The role involves close collaboration with API/DP/Device teams, method development, data interpretation, and ensuring regulatory
Qualifications
- PhD degree (or equivalent) in Polymer and material sciences or related field.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Experience with mechanical properties testing (uniaxial, injectability, 3-point bending).
Responsabilités
- Perform advanced materials characterization using mechanical testers and imaging/spectroscopy instruments.
- Collaborate with API, DP, and Device teams to support product development.
- Develop and validate methods, interpret data, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, and safety requirements.
