EMW in Belgium is seeking a Solution Engineer (SATCOM) to provide technical leadership across acquisition projects, delivering integrated, interoperable SATCOM solutions. The role requires leading architecture development, preparing specifications, and evaluating design options to meet security and performance standards.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of SATCOM experience, strong RF knowledge, and familiarity with DVB-S2/S2X and SDN environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 3 years post-related experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of practical experience in SATCOM systems (UHF & SHF).
• Strong knowledge of SATCOM architecture principles including link budget analysis, modulation, coding and topologies.
• Solid knowledge of RF engineering and antenna systems for SATCOM.
• Familiarity with SATCOM standards such as DVB-S2, DVB-S2X and related security concepts.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical lead support to acquisition projects, ensuring delivery of integrated and interoperable technical solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications and support evaluation processes.
• Lead architecture development and ensure alignment with standards and security requirements.
• Develop roadmaps and assess system design alternatives for cost, performance and scalability.
• Oversee system integration, testing and acceptance activities.
