Job summary

Ageas Re is seeking a Risk Officer to enhance the Enterprise Risk Management framework and contribute to risk reporting. You will support the ORSA process and quarterly Solvency II closing, ensuring clear documentation and coherent outputs. Strong actuarial or mathematical background with 5+ years in insurance is essential.

Qualifications

• Actuarial degree or strong mathematical background.
• At least 5 years of experience in the insurance sector; reinsurance is a plus.
• Full professional proficiency in English; French and/or Dutch is advantageous.
• Proven ability to balance detail with simplicity in complex analyses.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and rollout of the Ageas Re ERM framework; document processes clearly.
• Contribute to ORSA preparation and corresponding analysis; document assumptions and results.
• Assist quarterly Solvency II closing, including SCR calculations and result interpretation.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of inputs, calculations, and outputs for quarterly reporting.
