Seafar is an innovative maritime tech company driving autonomous and remotely operated shipping. We seek a Project Manager Safety to own our safety strategy end-to-end, certifying hardware, software and ROC operations, and representing Seafar with regulators and class societies.

You will bridge regulators, product engineering and customers, maintaining the safety management system and ensuring certification is integrated into development timelines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience taking a product, system or operation through a certification or regulatory approval process.
• Proven ability to manage multiple parallel approval tracks with clear deadlines and stakeholders.
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies (HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA) and incident investigations.
• Strong communication skills for regulators, conferences and technical teams.
• Excellent written English; additional European languages are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own the roadmap for certification and approvals across hardware, software and ROC operations.
• Build and maintain safety cases, technical files and evidence packages for compliance.
• Act as primary contact to class societies, regulators and industry stakeholders.
• Track vessel, waterway and product configuration approvals and communicate status.
• Integrate safety requirements early in product decisions and roadmaps.
