Job summary

ThoughtLabs Belgium is seeking a Senior Project Lead to drive ICT projects in the railway signalling and infrastructure domain. Located at Ring Station II, you will lead complex, safety-critical initiatives in a dynamic environment.

You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate suppliers, and ensure governance and compliance across standards such as ISO9001 and ISO27001. This is a long-term engagement offering growth in agile, security-focused infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Dutch, French and English with high-level communication
• 5+ years in project management, ideally senior-level
• Experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Experience integrating third-party solutions
• Fundamental understanding of infrastructure and networking (Linux/Windows)

Responsibilities

• Lead ICT projects using Agile/Scrum/SAFe with hybrid governance (Scrum + PMBOK/PRINCE2)
• Ensure scope, budget and planning are respected and report to stakeholders
• Manage suppliers and oversee external solution integration (cybersecurity, infra, architecture)
• Handle technical documentation, CMDB and supplier relationships
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO27001, EN50.128

Senior Project Lead (ICT – Security & Infrastructure)

Location: Ring Station II

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead to drive ICT projects in the railway signalling and infrastructure domain. This long-term engagement offers the chance to lead complex, safety-critical projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ICT projects and packages in Agile/Scrum/SAFe frameworks with hybrid governance (Scrum + PMBOK/PRINCE2).
• Ensure scope, budget, and planning are respected while coordinating teams and reporting to stakeholders.
• Manage suppliers and oversee integration of external solutions (cybersecurity, infrastructure, architecture).
• Handle technical documentation, CMDB, and supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO27001, EN50.128 standards.

Required Experience & Skills

• Languages: Dutch or French (C1), English (B2), plus passive knowledge of Dutch/French.
• Project Management: ≥5 years (Senior level).
• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Some experience.
• Integration of third-party solutions: ≥2 years.
• Infrastructure/Networking (Linux/Windows): Basic knowledge to consult and challenge technical experts.
