Terumo Europe seeks a Senior Production Process Engineer to join our Leuven-based team. You will analyze, develop and implement improvements in highly automated production lines, driving quality, yield and efficiency across cross-functional teams.

You will bridge production and projects, manage COC/p-FMEA activities, and contribute to TPM, calibration and audit readiness in a dynamic, future‑oriented environment. Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electromechanics or equivalent, or a Bachelor’s with relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production environments with fully automated assembly lines.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Affinity with PLCs, robotics, cobots, AI or industrial engineering.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Analyze existing production processes to identify improvements and resolve issues.
• Optimize production systems focusing on OEE, quality and yield.
• Define and safeguard process standards with CP/CPK monitoring.
• Identify bottlenecks using data-driven insights and structured problem solving.
• Define success criteria and conduct root cause analyses.
• Coordinate cross-functional improvement initiatives for sustainable results.
• Lead change management through training and clear communication.
• Implement and optimize digital systems to monitor production performance.
• Act as a link between production and projects for new installations.
• Manage the complete COC process and lead p-FMEA activities.
• Participate in daily production meetings and support operational follow-up.
• Contribute to TPM activities including maintenance planning and execution.
• Support calibration activities and perform MSAs.
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance; participate in audits and visits.
