Job summary

VIQI Group is seeking an experienced Packaging Engineer / Packaging Equipment Expert to support pharmaceutical packaging equipment and lines. You will focus on primary/secondary packaging for OSD tablets, including bottles and blisters, and assess lines, automation, and supplier proposals in a regulated environment.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of relevant experience, CAPEX project involvement, and familiarity with vision inspection systems to drive feasibility and implementation success.

Qualifications

Job description

As part of a project within an international pharmaceutical environment, VIQI is looking for an experienced Packaging Engineer / Packaging Equipment Expert to support technical activities related to pharmaceutical packaging equipment and lines.

Your responsibilities :

You will provide technical expertise on primary and secondary packaging equipment, with a particular focus on solid oral dosage forms and bottle packaging.

Your activities may include :

• Review of URS and technical documentation
• Assessment of packaging equipment and technologies
• Review and challenge of supplier technical proposals
• Technology feasibility assessments
• Support to CAPEX projects involving new packaging lines/equipment
• Technical assessment of suppliers and external manufacturing partners
• Review of technical packages in the context of sourcing activities
• Participation in supplier/site assessments when required
• Evaluation of equipment capabilities against product and process requirements
• Potential support to Proof of Concept activities involving vision inspection systems

Your profile :

• Strong experience in pharmaceutical packaging equipment / packaging engineering
• Experience with primary and secondary packaging of OSD/tablets, ideally bottles and/or blisters
• Strong knowledge of packaging lines, equipment and automation
• Experience supporting CAPEX projects and equipment implementation
• Ability to independently assess and challenge suppliers and technical solutions
• Experience working in a regulated pharmaceutical environment
• Ideally 8+ years of relevant experience, although expertise and project background will be considered above the number of years
• Experience with vision inspection systems is a strong asset
