Job summary

Fednot ICT in Brussels is seeking a Virtualization and Storage System Engineer to ensure performance and availability of hosted applications. Hybrid work arrangement (40% office, 60% home) in Brussels center.

You will design, implement and operate Nutanix AHV and VMware environments, backup solutions, and DR processes, while automating provisioning and maintenance tasks. Strong knowledge of SAN, Windows Server, and networking is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as Virtualization System Engineer with at least 2 years in a senior role

Responsibilities

• Provide level 2 and 3 support for virtualization and backup platforms
• Design, manage and maintain Nutanix AHV and VMware environments
• Implement high-availability and clustering solutions
• Document operational procedures for support
• Design and operate backup solutions with defined SLAs, RPO, and RTO
• Automate provisioning and operational tasks for virtualization and backups
• Collaborate on DR plans and participate in DR tests
• Monitor performance, capacity, and storage usage
• Communicate effectively during incidents and SLA breaches
