Job summary

Keytrade Bank is seeking a senior network & security engineer to reinforce the Network & Security team in Brussels. You will stabilize, maintain, and oversee a complex hybrid infrastructure while mentoring junior team members and acting as the go‑to escalation point for technical incidents.

You will report to the Head of Network & Security and collaborate closely with Risk & Security. The role covers routing, switching, firewalling, load balancing, and hybrid cloud connectivity in a fast‑moving

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Strong enterprise routing & switching expertise.
• Hands-on with Cisco Catalyst switches/routers, Palo Alto and/or Fortigate firewalls, and F5 BigIP LTM.
• Experience in hybrid cloud-connected environments.
• Solid troubleshooting skills (L3).
• Professional English (written & spoken).
• Have a clean certificate of good behavior.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of routing & switching infrastructure (Cisco-based).
• Oversight of firewalling and perimeter security (Palo Alto, Fortigate, Juniper).
• Oversight of load balancing (F5 BigIP LTM).
• L3 escalation support for internal IT teams.
• Maintain, monitor, and stabilize hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Coordinate with telecom providers, partners and external vendors.
• Ensure documentation and operational best practices.
