Job summary

Twipe is seeking a Senior .Net Engineer to further develop our back-end infrastructure into a cloud-native solution with microservices and scalable architecture. You will implement features for processing newspaper content and distributing it to end users, while integrating external systems for user and rights management.

You will write clean, testable code, review peers’ work, and help bring new features to life, balancing performance with cost considerations in a fast-paced, collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in Computer Science or related.
• 1–3 years of experience in Back End Engineering.
• Knowledge of software languages, ideally C#/.NET, but otherwise Python, Java or C++ with a willingness to learn.
• Experience with AWS cloud or other cloud providers is considered a plus.
• Experience with infrastructure as code is a plus.
• Experience with relational database technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop back-end infrastructure to a cloud-native solution with microservices and horizontal scalability.
• Ensure permanent system availability while considering cost aspects.
• Develop features for processing newspaper content and distributing it to end users.
• Implement integrations with external 3rd party systems for user and rights management.
• Write clear, maintainable code and ensure test coverage with unit tests.
• Prepare go-lives of new features and follow-up after release.
• Review pull requests of peers.
• Write infrastructure as code for changes to our infrastructure.
• Be a true team player and proactively learn new technologies.
